The early foundational years

1966 – Arthur C. Hall founds company in West Chester, PA, focused primarily on personal insurance and farming accounts.
1986 – Company sold to Tom Van Grofski.
1986-1988 – Concentrated on growing the firm through commercial insurance relationships.
1988 – Jackie Van Grofski becomes a partner of Arthur Hall Insurance.
1988 – Re-located to E. Chestnut Street office and captured the majority of the local market.
1991 – Acquired John B. Waldron Insurance Agency. Current Operations Manager, Karen L. Leary, CIC, CISR, joins Arthur Hall Insurance.
1991 – Current President, James S. Denham, CPCU, CIC, joins the firm.
1991-2000 – Expanded regional presence beyond Chester County and throughout the state of Delaware.
1996 – James S. Denham, CPCU, CIC, becomes agency partner and is named Vice President.
1998 – Current Vice President Personal Lines, Nicole C. Grebloskie, CIC, CISR, joins the agency.
2000 – Current Vice President, Mark D. Sammarone, CIC, CISR, joins the firm.
2002 – Became founding member of the West Chester University Presidents Corporate Associates.
2004 – Arthur Hall Insurance ranked among top 25% of brokers nationally based on financial performance.
2005 – Transitioned to New Management Team.
2006 – Mark Sammarone, CIC, CISR, and Karen Leary, CIC, CISR, become agency partners.

Repositioning for future growth

2007 – James S. Denham, CPCU, CIC, named President of Arthur Hall Insurance.
2008 – Current Senior Vice President – Delaware Operations, Glenn D. Burcham, CIC, CRM, joins Arthur Hall Insurance, opening the Delaware office with dedicated Nonprofit and Public Entity Risk Management disciplines.
2009 – Glenn D. Burcham, CIC, CRM, becomes agency partner.
2009 – Arthur Hall Insurance named Business of the Year by Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce.
2009 – Launched Biotech/Life Science Specialty Division with dedicated personnel in Sparta, NJ office.
2011 – Nicole C. Grebloskie, CIC, CISR, becomes agency partner.
2011 – New Management Team completes final transition steps to assure long-term viability as an independent agency.
2013 – Comprehensive Risk Management Process introduced to enhance client experience.
2014 – New branding communicates our consultative approach as Advisor. Advocate. Agent.
2016 – Celebrating 50 years as an independently owned insurance agency.
